CITE and Faculty of Education joint workshop: "Marking with Rubrics, Scales, and Outcomes using Moodle 2.2"
The latest
version of Moodle (2.2) offers increased support for learning outcomes, and for
the first time supports the marking of assignments with the use of a built-in
rubric! This hands-on workshop will
demonstrate how to create and use a marking rubric in Moodle, and review two
case studies where rubrics, scales, and outcomes have been used for marking at
HKU

Knutzen has been teaching using the Moodle LMS since 2005. His teaching approach focuses on the setup
and operation of highly engaging teaching / learning activities on the LMS
which maximize student collaboration and the social construction of
knowledge. He began operating a
university project using the Moodle 2 platform in July 2011, and recently
taught two MSc Education courses on eLearning using the Faculty of Education
Moodle 2 server. He is currently the
Learning Designer for the Faculty of Education at HKU.</p>
