You are invited to participate in the CITE Research Symposium
(CITERS) on 4-6 March 2010 (Thursday to Saturday), at the University of
Hong Kong. This year's CITERS focuses on ways to optimise designs and
applications of new technologies that enhance learning in educational
and professional development settings. The Symposium will include
examples, models and standards in learning designs, the design of
multimedia learning resources and learning architectures as well as
pedagogical and assessment activities that support the development and
adaptation of innovative practices aimed to improve learning in
sustainable and transformative ways.
Participants are encouraged
to propose presentations on a broad range of topics related to
improving learning through developing and/or using and re-using units
of learning and e-learning resources. Research outcomes into learning
designs, exploring principles, tools, policies and learning
environments that contribute to engagement of the learner are also
encouraged.
The conference supports the government's e-Learning
initiative as recommended by the Working Group on Textbooks and
e-Learning Resources Development.
