Description:

Moodle is traditionally used to support an individual course with a teacher and students, for one semester. However, the requirements and flexibility of Moodle increase when a course involves numerous small groups of students and teachers using Problem Based Learning, which spans several semesters. This seminar will share the ways the Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences has used Moodle to carry out the BSc SHS program over the past two years. This seminar will explain how the design of Moodle was adapted to fit the curriculum. Some of the challenges with this design and implementation will also be discussed.
