iDTech – Seminar/Recruitment Drive
iDTech’s tech programs inspire students ages 7-17 through cutting-edge technology and a fun, dynamic learning environment. Students receive world-class instruction from top-notch staff at elite campuses such as Stanford, Princeton and MIT while working to create an impressive project that builds skills that last long after summer. iDTech is now bringing their coding expertise to Hong Kong!
During this seminar, a representative from iDTech would like to share the iDTech experience and also look for an iDTech Camp Director from the faculty of education.
iD Tech Directors or Assistant Directors ensure that camp runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis; this includes planning activities and keeping staff on-schedule, chatting with students, and interacting with parents. Directors use organizational and problem-solving skills to engineer a safe, welcoming, and epic camp experience!
Kris Kasper aka "The Friendly Ghost" is a Regional Manager for New York City, Hong Kong, and UK. He joined iD Tech as a summer staffer in 2010. He holds a degree from University of California, Santa Barbara, majoring in Law and Society. During his summers with iD Tech, he was an Instructor/Director at Princeton, Yale, Stanford, Vassar, and Wesleyan. He also worked as a Curriculum Developer. Before coming on full-time to iD in 2013, he worked in the film industry as an Editor/VFX artist and as a DJ in Los Angeles. You can see what he has done here.
Kasper's management style is focused on helping staff create fun, engaging, educational experience for every one of iD Tech's students. He believes the success of a camp comes from the hardworking and engaging staff and will work to help each of them succeed. He is very excited to have you join his Hong Kong team.
