myDragonNet is a personalized online learning platform designed at Hong Kong International School (HKIS). Justin Hardman, the system architect, will talk about the foundational principals and goals that underpin the system. It has been designed to use Web 2.0 tools, design patterns and underlying philosophies to build a digital environment suitable for teaching and learning in a K-12 environment. He secondarily highlights how the system works in practice for all members of the community. Thirdly what the practical considerations are for designing and implementing the system. Fourthly the benefits for teachers and students and show live examples of they are using the system.
