Theme of the workshop: Assessment for learning emphasizing how teachers can assess students' work on Knowledge Forum
Objectives of the workshop: (1) To reflect and to share knowledge building practice and troubleshooting; (2) To introduce assessment of knowledge building including (a) demonstration of built-in assessment tools for online knowledge building (Applets and Analytic Toolkit); and (b) qualitative assessment tools for assessing students' notes; and (c) to identify your students' strengths and weaknesses and to cater for individual differences; and (3) To discuss forward planning and using knowledge building assessment to improve teaching and learning.
